The Msquared Utah Max Challenge (MUMC) operates under the guidelines set forth for all official Rotax Max Challenge series worldwide. Detailed rules can be found on the official Rotax Max Challenge website. Items of specific importance to the MUMC are listed below.

1. To score points in the MUMC a driver must be a registered member of Club Rmax. Drivers must be registered before they are eligible to score points. The registration fee must be accompanied by a registration form that can be downloaded from the official Rotax Max Challenge website or drivers can pick one up from Msquared. (Note: Club Rmax and the associated membership fee is not in any way associated with Msquared. This fee is paid to SSC Racing and is required of all participants in any official Rotax Max Challenge in the U.S.)

2. The MUMC will be run in conjunction with the Rotax Max class at Black Rock Raceway. During MUMC events, those drivers who have signed up for the MUMC and are members of Club Rmax will score points in the MUMC. The MUMC event will not be separate from the club event. There will be an additional $5.00 fee to be scored in the Rotax Max Challenge. This fee is not initiated by Msquared or Black Rock Raceway. It is a "scoring" fee which is paid to SSC Racing by series organizers.

3. To score points in the MUMC a driver must be using Mojo tires.

4. In accordance with the official Rotax Max Challenge international rules, drivers must be 16 by December 31st 2003 to participate in the International and Masters classes.

5. Races will be run rain or shine in accordance with Black Rock Raceway guidelines. The spec rain tire is the Bridgestone YGR.

6. Any Rotax Max engine bearing the coded seals for the U.S. from an authorized Rotax Max Distributor (RD) is eligible to compete and score points in the MUMC.

7. At season's end, the top 50% of each class will be eligible to compete in the Rotax Max Grand Nationals with the chance to win an all-expense paid trip to the World Finals. Detailed information will be posted here when available.
